Chocolates Galore & More

The Loudoun County Branch of the YMCA is having their 17th Annual "Chocolates Galore & More" fundraiser at the Lansdowne Resort in Ashburn on Friday February 18 from 7-11pm. The cost is $40 in advance, and $50 at the door. The blurb on their site goes:

"Chocolates Galore & More is a wonderful event that allows residents from Loudoun County and beyond to gather in merriment while sampling some of the finest food - and, of course, chocolates - across the county."

I wish they would put up more information at their site about the event. Granted that it's a charity event, but I would still like to know who is participating in the event.

Anyone out there know more about this?

YES!! We participated last year with our chocolate fountain (The Chocolate Chick) and this year we will bring 3 different fountains, each with a different type of chocolate. The other vendors were fantastic and the silent auction prizes we a great deal too!

Cool. Good to get some information about it. From some of the pictures I've seen of the event, it looks like there's a lot of good food there to enjoy.

The chocolate fountain that was there in the past was really cool. I told my kids about it the next day and they've been fantasizing about it ever since :)
I'll be participating this year, too, representing Lola Cookies Co.
It's a fun event. Some people get quite dressed up and some are more casual. I believe there is a band early in the evening. There is definately a lot of amazing chocolate, free champagne, and a good silent auction. All for a good cause, too!
