I'm currently at Cigital (formerly Reliable Software Technologies) in Dulles, VA. I work in the Research Labs as a Sr. Research Associate. Most of the work I do centers around software assurance, a term which encompasses safety, security and reliablity of software systems. I also help with system administration for the research systems and software configuration management.

My interests, as far as computing goes, are eclectic, and reflect my varied background. Aside from wanting to learn every new technology that pops up, I like working in analysis of software, networking, UI design, OOD, API design, educational software, cognitive science and operating systems.

As far as System Administration goes, my experience is mainly with UNIX-like systems. I'm very familiar with (and a big fan of) FreeBSD. I work with Solaris, Linux and NT on a regular basis. I'm also very interested in Software Configuration Management, and work with and administer CVS. I have used VSS, SCCS, Bitkeeper and Perforce to varying degrees.
